membership

The Society of Pelvic Surgeons is a by-invitation organization. If interested in becoming a member, an existing member will need to invite you to attend and participate in an annual meeting. 

Participation in at least one annual meeting is a requirement with either an abstract presentation, discussant or another presentation. 

Mandatory Requirements

• Active participation (presentation or discussion) at a previous meeting
• 5 years from completion of training
• Associate Professor or Professor (where applicable)
• 30 peer-reviewed publications

Other Considerations

• Strong support and commitment on the part of the member sponsor regarding quality of the individual and likely long-term commitment to SPS
• Continuous academic productivity
• Board certified in specialty/ subspecialty (where applicable)
• Membership applicants submit their CVs with the impact factor of the journal already inserted in the publication citations. Must provide a printout of their H-index.

Application for Membership must be submitted by a Member.
